Snow and Pike

I had a late start today, scraped the ice and snow off the car and got to The Trent about 11 O’clock only to find I'd took a wrong top section of rod with me and it didn't fit the bottom half of my main Pike rod??? That's what happens when you tidy up your rods and tackle! I got back with the right set up and finally got fishing for a few hours in the afternoon and was rewarded with two great fish! The best one taking the scales to 17lb+ Woooooooooo

Cheers Bazz, yes mate,The Trent is just about perfect at the moment...just very cold. I went back again this morning for a few hours and had a nice one, about 8lb ish, and lost a good one at the net. Have you been out lately?

Plan to get out at the weekend. Was away last weekend. Hoping either the Trent is OK or failing that the local Pits etc..aren't frozen.
