Evening Lure Fishing

I went back to The Trent again this evening for a few hours with my lure rod until it got dark and had some good action from The Trent Perch! I ended the evening with six of them, I didn't get any action from The Pike until the light started fading, I then landed a small one but lost another bigger one of around 10lb... Maybe next time!

"Trent Percher"...HAHA

Give it a go Bazz, small spinners are great this time of year for Perch and the odd big Chub! but this greedy bugger went for a 5 inch lure!

I have two small plugs, about 2" long, 2 x No6 trebles. Little Gems @ £2.50ea. Says suitable for Pike, Zander & big Perch. They float but have a diving vane on that is shallow so should dive to a good depth, ideal for the Trent at the Higgin, slow & deep. They would hit the bottom of the F. Ponds!
